Educational Requirements:
∎ A Master's degree in relevant field (Education); Qualified e.g. B.Ed. M.Ed. or IER background student will get the preference.
∎ Specialized experience on Education in national or International organization/s.
∎ Minimum of 10 years of work experience within the field of education as Education Specialist; Program Manager, Head Teacher of Secondary School, Master Trainer of formal or Non-Formal education program.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills; familiarity with MSWord, Excel, Power Point; Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to assume responsibilities and take initiative; ability to be a team player.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Technical Coordinator (TC-MCP) is responsible for providing technical support e.g. pedagogy to the Myanmar Curriculum Piloting (MCP) project and specifically to staff members implementing the Early learning and Non formal Basic Education for Children from Myanmar in Bangladesh.
∎ S/he is responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining the quality of education as perceived for Rohingya nationals.
∎ S/he is to do the regular coordination, ensuring periodic reporting, provides technical support, academic input as required by the MCP field team. Extensive field visits and liaison with UNICEF representatives, CiC, RRRC, UNO, UP Chairman and Member, Site management, Local community, LCMC, Educated Youth Network of Rohingya Community, Rohingya Mazhi, as well as partner NGOs.
∎ Understanding of development programs with special focus on education program specially Education in Myanmar Curriculum (MCP);
∎ Provide full technical support in terms of Myanmar Curriculum Piloting (MCP) and material development;
∎ Monitor progress of the learners, measure competency level, oversee the performance of the tutors/facilitators and share feedbacks with the Training Team for upgrade of the competencies;
∎ Day to day follow-up planned activities in both field and office level
∎ Providing support to the supervisees for timely quality full activity implementation.
∎ Making a strong professional relationship with camp authorities and other actors for the implementation of field level activities
∎ Overall MCP project coordination and management.
∎ Designing component and formulating a plan for implementation of MCP project activities.
∎ Providing strategic support to technical and managerial staff.
∎ Quality assurance of MCP project and reporting.
∎ Making follow-up visits to the MCP areas in order to monitor MCP project implementation and preparing feedback reports.
∎ Analyze risks and opportunities of the project and take necessary measures.
∎ Oversee project procurement management and ensure value for money.
∎ Coordination with the Project Implementation Unit (PIU).
∎ Ensuring necessary support to subordinate staff in implementing MCP project activities.
∎ Organizing monthly, quarterly and annual review meetings and preparing minutes.
∎ Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual activity reports.
∎ Preparing Appraisal of Project Staff and submitting to Head of Education Program annually.
∎ Keeping the necessary records and documents of the project.
∎ Perform any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the concerned authority.
∎ Controlling budget and support to the finance team for complacence issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Minimum of 10 years of work experience within the field of education as Education Specialist; Program Manager, Head Teacher of Secondary School, Master Trainer of formal or Non-Formal education program;
∎ Specialized experience on Education in national or International organization/s;
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Bangla and Chattogram Local Language
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bangla and English.
∎ Knowledge of Chottogram local language will be an asset.
∎ Basic computer skills on MS-Office, MS-Excel, Power Point.
∎ Having a valid motorcycle license
∎ Ability to work under pressure and dual/multi-management
∎ Outstanding analytical and writing skills and proven ability to quickly understand complex challenges and propose solutions in organized, articulate concept papers, reports, and proposals;
∎ Facilitate procurement of educations materials as per requisition from the field and ensure supply;
∎ Develop/collect supplementary education materials as per assessed needs of diverse geographical and cultural context;
∎ Sensitive to local and national development and clear understanding of the education sector development in Bangladesh;
∎ Regularly shares knowledge on new international best practice trends;
∎ Proactively applies relevant international best practices to own work;
∎ Conformity in working with goal-oriented activities;
∎ Sensitivity to Rohingya nationals, Child rights, and specific understanding of the Education in Emergencies;
∎ Innovation in mindset, accommodative and knowledge of IKP;
Salary:
∎ Tk. 80,000/- per month, Consolidated and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
