Job Context:
∎ Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement `Ensuring Foundational Literacy, Numeracy, Vocational and Life Skills for adolescents (15-18 years) in Rohingya camps and Cox`s Bazar district including Out of School Children (OoSC) Cox`s Bazar district Cox`sBazar` Project in partnership with United Nations Children`s Fund (UNICEF) in Cox`s Bazar district for the period of 1 year with possibility of extension. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF is inviting application to recruit from competent candidates.
∎ Project: Ensuring Foundational Literacy, Numeracy, Vocational and Life Skills for adolescents (15-18 years) in Rohingya camps and Cox`s Bazar district including Out of School Children (OoSC) Cox`s Bazar district Cox`s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and support the implementation of literacy and numeracy program including designing work plans, implementation modalities in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
∎ Lead and support the design and development of literacy and numeracy curriculum, training manuals; support teacher professional development, center management committees, center administration.
∎ Quality support to the development of life skills education syllabi and standards following best practices.
∎ Ensure life skills syllabi and standards are consistent and coherent across other subject syllabi and standards.
∎ Lead and manage Vocational Training Centers to ensure effective pedagogical practices relevant for trainee's capacity covering literacy numeracy, life skills.
∎ Ensure an effective learning environment by managing the financial, technical and operations and human resource of the Vocational Training Centers.
∎ Manage day-to-day operations of the VTC, managing the VTC trainers, student enrolment process, attendance, and drop-out and ensuring adherence to the curriculum and quality of the training provided.
∎ Support and lead strong links with the job providers within the camp and enhance employability for wage and self- employment.
∎ Develop and design training needs assessment tools for trainee selection and trade selection.
∎ Develop and design assessment tools, quality assurance for delivered-training.
∎ Build strong partnership with government and private sector entities to ensure the services are demand and supply driven.
∎ Ensure linkage among key stakeholders i.e. government, private sector, civil society organizations, donors and other funding agencies.
∎ Represent JCF in various skills related forum locally and nationally and do advocacy around the skill agenda.
∎ Perform any other duties/responsibilities assigned by the concerned authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ At least 10 years relevant experience.
∎ At least 5 years of experience in the education/ vocational training sector specifically supporting skills training, livelihood and life skills activities.
∎ Experience in curriculum/module development is desirable.
∎ Experience to address gender issues in humanitarian interventions.
∎ Adaptable and able to work under pressure in a demanding and fast-moving environment.
∎ Should have good computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Office, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 66,000/- per month, Consolidated and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
