Job Context:
∎ CODEC is an inheritor of DANIDA Bangladesh derived from couple of project intervention explicitly DANIDA Boat Building Project and Boat Rental Scheme. CODEC has been working as a people centered development organization since 1985.
∎ CODEC has been growing and evolving into efficient and effective non-governmental development organization in the coastal area of Bangladesh.
∎ From the beginning of its development intervention CODEC started its activities only with the fisherfolk communities but over the period CODEC now extended its working area with other disadvantaged coastal communities along with the fisherfolk community in the exposed coastal districts in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the Position – Technical Consultant from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing CODEC ESHO SHIKHI (“Come and Learn”) Project.
∎ Technical Consultant of Esho Shikhi will be working upto July 2022 in a consortium with Winrock International , USAID & GoB.
∎ Close co-ordination with Winrock International Technical Consultant will play a lead role initially of ESHO SIKHI activity on behalf of CODEC. He/She will actively participate in the co-creation process. He/She will coordinate with relevant govt. stakeholders to take all kinds of approval to implement this project in 14 districts. He will develop detailed Implementation Plan for each month and update quarterly and ensure its efficient implementation. Prepare and implement training plan. Conduct all meetings. Support in field implementation. Monitor program components at field along with training, workshop, meetings at different level and provide feedbacks. Provide support in managing resources overseeing budgets.
∎ Prepare weekly reports, monthly reports, and other program reports for Winrock International as needed, represents all kinds of meetings, Maintain liaison with GoB/NGO officials, local elite and other key formal and informal sectors/leaders in the area. Disseminate new information, lessons learnt, government’s new policies and programs etc. to the appropriate forums when needed.
∎ The Technical Consultant is a Dhaka based position with field visit as required by the project.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 10years’ experience in Education the field of Education (Formal/Non-Formal/ECD program preferably in Curriculum/content or retiring from GoB education sector that have long experience can apply.
∎ Knowledge of developing and implementing quality education programs in the context of Bangladesh.
∎ Skills Required - Excellent inter-personal communication skills
∎ Good MS Office computer operating skills
∎ Good planning and coordinating skills.
∎ Good in teamwork
∎ Desired Qualifications - Experience of working in partnership with NGOs
∎ Advance editing and publication skills.
∎ Manage multiple priorities and workload.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 187000 (Monthly)
∎ The remuneration will be Tk. 1,87,000/- (One Lac Eighty Seven Thousand) monthly (Including Vat & Tax).
