Job Context

Metafour Asia is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ‘Technical Business Analyst/Senior Software Engineer’ to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the courier and logistics industry, enabling the customer requirements into precise functional and technical specifications. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, document, and deliver technology-driven logistics solutions that enhance system efficiency, automation, and overall service performance. Metafour is an employee-owned, international software company serving 150+ clients worldwide for more than 40 years. 

Core Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for: 

• Business analysis & requirement gathering: Translate business objectives into precise functional and technical requirements by defining project scope, workflows, use cases, and acceptance criteria. Develop comprehensive documentation, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and process diagrams, to guide development teams and ensure accurate implementation. Conduct thorough analysis of business models, operational workflows, and client needs to identify opportunities for process optimization and innovative solutions.

• Agile product & project management: Work closely with the product owner by refining the product backlog, defining priorities, and ensuring the timely delivery without compromising the quality. Monitor project progress, identify risks or dependencies, and maintain transparency with stakeholders. Prepare presentations and documentation to support decision-making for internal teams and clients, while serving as a communication bridge between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams. 

• Software and solution design: Design end-to-end software and system solutions that align business goals with technical execution. Collaborate with project managers, developers, and clients to clarify requirements and ensure accurate delivery. Identify opportunities for automation, digital transformation, and process improvement. Develop complex system components following established architectures and design patterns, evaluate key design decisions, manage risks, and ensure compliance and security standards.

• Software development - Code, verify, test, document and refactor complex programs/scripts and integration software services. Take technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development. Participate in reviews of your own work and lead reviews of colleagues' work.

Compensation and other benefits (in details):

• Monthly salary ranging from BDT 85,000/- to 110,000/- based on skills and experience
