Technical Requirements:

• Strong practical experience in Linux system administration, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and maintenance.

Knowledge of networking and network security concepts, including:

• Firewall configuration and management

• IP Addressing and Subnetting

• IP Routing and Routing Protocols (OSPF)

• Layer 2 Switching Technologies (RSTP, PVST)

• VLANs, Trunk and Access Ports

• Network Address Translation (NAT)

• Access Control Lists (ACLs)

• Knowledge of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and VoIP technologies will be considered an added advantage.

• Experience with system monitoring, incident management, and documentation will be considered an advantage.

• Professional certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent industry-recognized certifications will be given preference.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ experience in the position of System Engineer

About the Job Post:

• In order to develop and running commercial services, Genuity Systems is seeking for candidates with excellent quality for its Network Operations team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and commission gPlex products and solutions at customer sites and remote environments.

• Provide technical support to customers, ensuring timely resolution of system, network, and application-related issues.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related problems.

• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project implementation and service delivery.

• Work collaboratively as part of a team while following established processes, guidelines, and supervisory instructions.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment reports, and support records.

• Participate in system monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.

• Be available to work in rotating shifts, including night shifts, as operational requirements dictate.

Job Location: Bangladesh Office (Dhaka)
