We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer / Backend Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. If you have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and have worked on Government/Public Sector Software Projects, we'd love to hear from you


🎯Key Requirements & Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in Java Backend Development.

• Mandatory: Hands-on experience in Government/Public Sector Software Projects.

• Experience with Loan Management Software will be highly preferred.

• Experience in Software Companies, Banks, MNCs, Enterprise Applications, or IT Service Organizations is an advantage.

📌Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.

• Develop software modules and services for government and public-sector systems in accordance with approved functional and technical requirements.

• Build high-performance RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with React, Next.js, mobile applications, external platforms, and third-party APIs.

• Contribute to frontend development and troubleshooting using React and Next.js when required.

• Develop or maintain Node.js-based services, integrations, or applications where applicable.

• Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into reliable technical solutions.

• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, procedures, indexes, and data access layers.

• Implement secure authentication, authorization, data protection, audit logging, and access-control mechanisms.

• Ensure compliance with applicable software development standards, security guidelines, and project documentation requirements.

• Diagnose and resolve application defects, integration issues, database problems, and production incidents.

• Monitor and improve system performance, availability, scalability, and reliability.

• Write unit tests, integration tests, and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, UI/UX designers, frontend developers, quality assurance engineers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Take ownership of assigned features and modules from requirement analysis through deployment and post-release support.

• Support software deployment, user acceptance testing, production rollout, maintenance, and version upgrades.

• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, testing, debugging, and documentation.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing activities.

• Stay updated with emerging backend, frontend, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies.

💻Required Technical Competencies:

• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.

• Hands-on experience with the Spring ecosystem, including: o Spring MVC o Spring Data JPA o Hibernate o Spring Security

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software design principles.

• Proven experience designing, developing, integrating, and documenting RESTful APIs.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle Database, or Microsoft SQL Server.

• Experience in database design, data modeling, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth 2.0, role-based access control, and Spring Security.

• Working knowledge of React and Next.js, including component-based development, state management, API integration, routing, and server-side rendering concepts.

• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar version-control platforms.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to write clean, secure, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.

🌐Preferred Technical Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS will be highly appreciated (Optional).

• Experience developing full-stack applications using Spring Boot with React or Next.js.

• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.

• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.

• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

• Knowledge of message-queuing and event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Familiarity with Redis or other caching technologies.

• Experience with Oracle Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Understanding of DevOps practices, application monitoring, logging, and site reliability principles.

• Experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, Jest, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum-based software development environments.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar platforms.

• Contributions to open-source projects or participation in technical communities will be considered an advantage.
