∎ Able to understand schematic and single line diagram (SLD) and interpret
∎ Proficiency in Chittagonian language.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Technical Assistant will be assigned to provide assistance by performing repairs and maintenance solar systems, Lightening Protection System (LPS), generators and other electrical components. They also ensure effective electronic waste management in the camp to keep the surrounding environment clean. They assure the uninterrupted operation of energy infrastructure within the refugee settlement, supplying critical power for community lighting by means of sustainable solar energy that enables better living conditions and essential services.
∎ Troubleshoot and diagnose system faults to determine whether repairs or replacements are required.
∎ Ensure all safety regulations during installation and maintenance activities.
∎ Troubleshoot existing Photovoltaic systems to identify and resolve issues and perform repair and maintenance activity of solar system.
∎ Assist in designing Photovoltaic systems based on energy/load demand and in compliance with local regulations.
∎ Provide technical support to line manager regarding system operation and maintenance.
∎ Complete necessary paperwork related to installations, maintenance, and repairs.
∎ Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
∎ Conduct community awareness sessions to get buy-in and build rapport for smooth, ensuring smooth project activities.
∎ Carry out data collection from respondents using surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), observation, and key informant interviews (KII) through field visits.
∎ Perform other relevant duties as required for the project as well as the organization.
