Educational Requirements:
∎ Master Degree, preferably in Social Sciences/International Relations/Development Studies or relevant discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years work experience on directly implementing Child Protection in Emergencies programming in humanitarian contexts and fragile states, including 3 years in management position
∎ Extensive experience developing and conducting child protection in emergencies capacity building of staff, volunteers, and duty bearers.
∎ Experience of developing log frames, familiarity with MEAL frameworks, and monitoring and evaluating child protection programs in emergencies.
∎ Proven ability to develop guidelines, such as the Inter-Agency Guidelines on Child Protection and Case Management, UASC Field Handbook, SC Child Friendly Spaces Handbook, Inter-Agency Guidelines on MHPSS
∎ Fluent written and spoken English, with demonstrable ability to draft clear, well-argued assessments, reports, and other documents
∎ Ability to work both in an Advisory and a hands-on implementation capacity.
∎ Proven ability to lead assessments, including IRNA, CPRA, gender analysis etc.
∎ Ability to analyse data and develop findings and recommendations, including identifying specific child protection risks and vulnerabilities to inform a holistic response for children and families.
∎ Experience on managing team and line management
∎ Demonstrated experience to mobilise resources and prepare successful funding proposals for donors such as ECHO, UNICEF, UNHCR, and SIDA
