Responsibilities & Context:
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using Next.js (frontend) and Node.js/Express (backend).
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints for dynamic data fetching.
- Work with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases, ensuring optimized queries and data integrity.
- Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes in Next.js for improved SEO and performance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma or wireframes into interactive web pages.
- Manage application state efficiently (e.g., using Zustand, Redux, or SWR).
- Set up authentication and authorization flows (JWT, OAuth, Clerk, or NextAuth).
- Optimize web apps for speed, security, and scalability (using caching, CDN, and best practices).
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code with proper version control (Git/GitHub).
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and debugging sessions with the tech team.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as Vercel, AWS, or Azure.
