Buying House, Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and guide a team of 3 garment fit technicians.
∎ Train and assist the team for size chart creation, measurement taking and comments writing.
∎ Approve proto, size set and preproduction samples regarding fit, workmanship, colors and fabric quality.
∎ Adjust the measurement charts and pattern if needed.
∎ Analyze problems of fitting or grading and communicate with France/Germany offices through conference call.
∎ Advice/help the QC team and factories to solve production issues.
∎ Create measurement charts with the help of base measurements for every product category.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Textile degree with exclusive knowledge of pattern making, fitting and grading.
∎ Min. 8 years of experience as garment fit technician or similar positions preferable in a buying house.
∎ Knowledge of stitching, assembly and workmanship of high class garment products.
∎ Good understanding on the western culture and its type of garments.
∎ Dynamic, and open-minded person who can work in autonomy.
∎ Good team player and leader with good communication skills.
Salary: Negotiable
