Requirements:

∎ Strong project management skills with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery
∎ Minimum 15 years of general experience in the field of Youth skills development and workforce engagement program.
∎ Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Team Leader/Project Director.
∎ Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing gender-transformative program/programs.
∎ Demonstrated capacity for budget management ranging from 10 to 23 million euro, with a track record of resource allocation, expenditure management, and financial accountability in complex project settings.
∎ Experience in managing payment by results projects, demonstrating proficiency in outcome-focused project management, including monitoring and evaluation for efficient resource utilization.
∎ Strong skills and experience in maintaining good working relationships with government officials, Ministries, Development Partners, as well as divisional and district-level authorities.
∎ Familiarity with the local languages of beneficiaries will be an added advantage for the Team Leader role.
∎ Willingness to work in any division across Bangladesh, adapting to local contexts, and effectively collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve project objectives and promote community engagement.
∎ Excellent communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English required;
∎ Ability to manage agreements and all required programmatic and financial reporting requirements, including sub-grants management.
∎ Ability to monitor and assess the performance of self, project team, consortium partners, and other individuals, and / or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
∎ Strong sense of accountability for project outcomes and experience in monitoring progress against key indicators.
∎ Proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks, along with the development of comprehensive contingency plans.
∎ Proficiency in standard office software applications. Familiarity with project management tools and software for efficient resource allocation and reporting.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The role and Scope:
∎ This role is designed to provide strategic leadership and direction in the planning and execution of divisional efforts aimed at empowering NEET youth in Bangladesh through skill development and employability initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for fostering effective partnerships with government entities, development partners, and internal consortium members, ensuring adherence to donor agreements and technical standards while achieving project objectives within specified timelines. The role needs to have the capacity of budget management ranging from 10 to 23 million euro. Additionally, the role involves overseeing program quality, knowledge management, grant and budget management, partner collaboration, and reporting to ensure the successful implementation of project activities and the delivery of impactful services to beneficiaries.
