Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensuring timely completion of planned activities during the project period and that the set performance targets are met;
∎ Ensure that the contractual obligations, including effective budget management, are met in a timely and cost-effective manner;
∎ The project is well managed, compliances are ensured and quality reporting are done on a timely manner
∎ Ensure synergies between other Donor funded programs are maximized, accomplishments and lessons learned are documented and shared widely; and
∎ Provide leadership and management guidance to the Project team with diverse professional backgrounds.
∎ Ensure achievement of the program’s objectives, as per the grants’ performance frameworks/milestones; developing strategic plans, annual and quarterly work plans, and overall management of the grants’ implementation
∎ Oversee technical assistance and trainings efforts to ensure effective service delivery including human resource, financial, procurement supply chain, and program management
∎ Collaborate with strategic partners such as the Government of Bangladesh, Donor/UN agencies, INGOs, NGOs, Networking Bodies, CSOs and other agencies, as required
∎ Responsibilities & Context
∎ Team Leader-of Parayan Project works as part of AB’s team under the direct supervision of the Director Programmes and guidance support of the Executive Director. The role is based in Dhaka, and regular field visits shall be conducted to all the Districts mentioned above.
∎ Team Leader will oversee the overall day to day of GBV prevention and response interventions, including case management/psychosocial support, Women/Youth/Men protection and empowerment, community mobilization for GBV prevention within the project areas, capacity building and coordination with the Government of Bangladesh, CSOs/CBOs, other sectors and actors. The Team Leader will provide supervision, mentoring/coaching for team members to ensure that the goals and objectives of the program are met in a timely and effective manner, that the approach to program implementation is participatory, that team members receive appropriate support and that a positive team spirit is fostered, encouraging innovative and quality programming.
