Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors in CSE/ EEE/ETE/ECE from any well Reputed public or private university
Experience Requirements:
∎ 4 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Peering and routing of data for various mission critical entities and service providers over Layer- 2/Layer-3 network.
∎ Handling multicast traffic.
∎ IP management - Customer end device and Network assets.
∎ Traffic planning and optimization.
∎ Provide on-Cole remote support above and beyond office hours.
∎ Network, infrastructure, scripting and access: comprehensive security planning, policy establishment,
∎ network and peripheral level hardening of assets, audit log management.
∎ Create comprehensive visibility of network elements from NOC for proactive troubleshooting.
∎ Plan for IPMI / LOM / SNMP type interfaces of assets within network.
∎ Optimize network assets - routing, switching, IP planning, zoning, protocol, etc.
∎ Implementation of ticketing system.
∎ Conduct training of human resources within network operations team and expand where necessary for operational optimization
∎ Establishment of various Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Network Operations starting from daily reporting, analysis of data, outage, situation escalation, disaster recovery, capacity planning optimization planning, new equipment induction, operation and maintenance of assets, change management and others which may be deemed necessary
∎ Supervise team level tasks assigned for operations and execution.
∎ Conduct training, undertake exams and ensure necessary development of skills for fresher(s)
∎ Implement KPI and SLA matrices for overall operational excellence
∎ Documentation of network - connectivity, interface, IP distribution, cable journal.
∎ Asset management within jurisdiction
∎ Finding out areas of improvement
∎ Maintain timeline for service delivery and flag issues which may be running out of timeline targets
∎ Design monthly roster of team
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 4 to 5 years of experience in any Nationwide ISP / large scale service provider
∎ Good command in English & Bengali both spoken and written
∎ Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
∎ Proficiency in the use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel & other relevant programs, Internet browsing, etc.
