Experience:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in CSE / IT / ECE / EEE or equivalent relevant engineering degree.

• Professional certifications will be preferred, such as: MCSE / MCSA, RHCE / Linux Administrator (RHCSA/RHCE)

• At least 4 years

• Age At least 35 years

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in: System Administration, Virtualization, and Data Center Operations.

• Hands-on experience with: VMware vCenter, ESXi, Hyper-V, EMC / HP SAN Storage, Enterprise Backup Solutions.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, IT policies, and audit standards.

• Experience managing High Availability (HA) configurations for in-house applications.

• Experience coordinating Data Center operations and DR replication/failover processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

• Good communication skills in English and Bengali.

• Professional attitude with a team-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Job Context:

ASA is looking for a competent and experienced System Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and data center operations, including Disaster Recovery (DR) readiness.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage servers, virtualization platforms, storage (SAN & NAS), and related infrastructure at the Central Tier-III Data Center and Disaster Recovery (DR) site.

• Administer and maintain virtualization platforms including VMware vCenter, ESXi, and Microsoft Hyper-V, ensuring proper configuration, optimization, clustering, and High Availability (HA).

• Manage enterprise storage systems, including EMC and HP SAN solutions.

• Administer and maintain core infrastructure services such as: Active Directory, Exchange Mail Server, DHCP & DNS, Endpoint Protection, Website Hosting, IIS, Proxy, and Load Balancers

• Design and maintain system and network architecture aligned with organizational and business requirements.

• Manage network and security devices including Firewall, WAF, Router, and Switch ensuring network stability and security.

• Plan, implement, and monitor enterprise backup policies to ensure successful restoration and disaster recovery readiness.

• Prepare monitoring, reporting, and documentation, including: Performance reports, Capacity reports, Incident reports, Compliance reports

• Maintain detailed documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration records, backup logs, SOPs, and compliance documentation.

• Provide technical support to Head Office and branch users and coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and technical support.

• Support DR replication, failover processes, and business continuity activities.

• Demonstrate understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD processes and automation scripting (PowerShell/Bash).

• Familiarity with Docker containerization and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) will be considered an advantage.
