Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate talks and training on legislation related to the Environment.
∎ Guarantee the implementation of Gildan's Environmental Management System in the plants under its responsibility.
∎ Guarantee permanent compliance with the entire regulatory framework regarding the Environment, human rights, social compliance, as well as all Codes and Customer Guides related to these areas.
∎ Maintain all updated documentation that allows its plants to meet the requirements of internal and external audits in matters of Environment and Social Compliance.
∎ Provide follow-up to the action plans generated as a result of internal and Client audits in matters of Environment and Social Compliance in its plants.
∎ Attend internal and external audits in matters of Environment and Social Compliance in its plants.
∎ Ensure and coordinate that all employees of the plants under their responsibility are aware of the environmental risks generated by their operations, supporting the evidence of said training.
∎ Promote an organizational culture, strengthening Gildan's values ??and standards in terms of Sustainability, through the implementation of activities, campaigns, training, induction of new employees or contractors.
∎ Support with the classification of waste generated in all operations, ensuring correct management according to Gildan's requirements.
∎ Complete the self-assessment of the FEM modules and provide support to complete the Higg Index FSLM module for the plants under their responsibility.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 38 years
∎ Working knowledge on FLA, WRAP, SMETA and CTPAT regulations
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
