Responsibilities & Context:
Operate Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and other modern survey instruments accurately for setting out and measurement works.
Establish control points, benchmarks, and reference lines at site for alignment, levels, and cross-sections.
Conduct topographic, hydrographic, and leveling surveys for river excavation, embankment, and road alignment.
Set out centerlines, culvert locations, embankment slopes, and road pavement levels as per approved design and drawings.
Record and check earthwork quantities, excavation depths, and backfilling levels daily.
Prepare as-built data, volume calculations, and survey drawings using AutoCAD or Civil 3D software.
Maintain all survey records, field books, and instrument calibration logs properly.
Coordinate closely with the Project Engineer, Site Manager, and Quality Control team for level verification and design compliance.
Ensure survey instruments are handled, maintained, and stored properly to ensure long-term accuracy.
Follow safety and environmental protocols during all field survey operations.
