Education: - Bachelor degree in any relevant discipline with proven experience in surveillance.

Additional Requirements: - Minimum 3 yrs of work experience in surveillance and at least 2 years of experience in supervising SMART/ SENS/ SQUEAC/ IYCF/Link NCA in the field of nutrition.
- Working experience with ACF Nutrition and Health interventions will be an added value
- Strong understanding and field level experience of survey planning, information system, monitoring and evaluation.
- Strong understanding and field level experience on Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition
- Proven experience in management (team management, supervision, activity planning)
Responsibilities & Context: Objective 1: Survey Planning and Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate the collection of available demography data district, upazila, union and village level for SMART survey sampling
- Oversee the household mapping process and clustering to identify areas households for survey data collection.
- Assign teams to specific survey areas and provide clear instructions on their responsibilities, procedure and survey objectives of integrated SMART survey.
- Coordinate the procurement and distribution of anthropometric supplies, such as measuring tapes and weighing scales, to the survey teams.
Objective 2: Capacity Building of Survey Team:
- Facilitate training to survey team for SMART survey procedure and data collection.
- Conduct standardization tests to ensure uniformity and consistency among survey team members in data collection methodologies.
- Organize field tests to assess the proficiency of the survey teams in conducting interviews, anthropometric measurements, and assessments.
Objective 3:Data Documentation and Quality Assurance:
- Implement measures to prevent data duplication, ensuring each household and individual is recorded only once in the survey data.
- Conduct thorough checks for missing data and follow up with survey teams to complete any gaps in the collected information.
- Perform digit preference checks to identify and address any potential bias in data recording.
- Conduct outlier data checks to identify extreme values that may require further verification or correction.
- Ensure daily basis data upload in the system and organize feedback session
Objective 4:Resource Management:
- Supervise the entire survey team for effective data collection.
- Assist in managing survey resources, including ensuring an adequate supply of data collection tools and anthropometric equipment.
- Monitor and track the utilization of resources to optimize their efficient use during the survey period.
Objective 5: Data Analysis, Report Writing, and Dissemination Workshop:
- Work closely with the data analysis team to ensure accurate and timely data processing and interpretation.
- Contribute to the preparation of comprehensive survey reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations for intervention strategies.
- Participate in dissemination workshops to present survey results to relevant stakeholders, fostering dialogue and collaboration for evidence-based decision-making.
Objective 6: Plausibility Check:
- Conduct a plausibility check on all collected data, examining its validity and consistency.
- Verify data accuracy by cross-referencing with other relevant data sources or conducting additional verification where necessary.
- Ensure daily data entry by the team and organize feedback session
Objective 7: External Coordination:
- Representation of Action Contre La Faim independently at District, Upazila level and different nutrition and health thematic groups as needed.
- Support team leaders for community consultation with local leaders, local level authority and community stakeholders
- Objective 8: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
- Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary
- Be strongly committed to Gender Equality and the Humanitarian Principals;
- Promote Gender Equality within the humanitarian and/or development work.
Job Other Benifits: Your monthly Salary will be BDT 81,400/-.
You will not be eligible for any other benefits except food allowance BDT 1100/- monthly and life insurance coverage.
Tax will be deducted as per govt policy.
