Job Context:
∎ Report to: Front Desk Manager
∎ Position Summary: We are seeking a responsible, experienced front desk supervisor to join our growing organization who will be Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Front Desk functions, in accordance with hotel standards. Directs, implements and maintains a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff. This position is an acting supervisor position to cover any of the Front Office Managers` absence and also acts as the relief to the Night Manager minimum two nights a week.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously and Anticipate and handle any guest requests and satisfy their needs within acceptable guidelines
∎ Ensure that current information on rates, packages and promotions is available at the Front Desk and that all staff are knowledgeable on such.
∎ Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyze rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count. Monitor selling status of house daily.
∎ Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations and plan effective solutions to best expedite these situations.
∎ Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
∎ Ensure outstanding customer care and maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
∎ Operate all aspects of Front Office computer system, including software maintenance, report generation and analysis, and simple configuration changes.
∎ Courteously and accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations and Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.
∎ Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue.
∎ Operates the EPBX equipment, including, assisting incoming & outgoing calls, setting wake-up calls, enabling DND (Do Not Disturb) and paging for in-house guests.
∎ Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel and resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
∎ Maintain an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logs.
∎ Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
∎ Receives information from the previous shift manger and passes on pertinent details to the oncoming manager.
∎ All other duties as directed by the Higher Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years' of experience at the same role with an up-scale (4/5 Star) hospitality environment.
∎ Skills:
∎ Solid customer service skills
∎ Attention to detail
∎ Computer skills for entering details onto the system,
∎ Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
∎ Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high level attention to detail.
∎ Other requirements
∎ Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays subject to rota and a willingness to extend of change hours and days of work from time to time upon request and subject to operational requirements.
∎ Prerequisite
