Job Context:
∎ Report to: General Manager
∎ Position Summary:
∎ We are looking for a professional Manager, Food & Beverage to be responsible for managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs and profitability.
∎ To co-ordinate with all large groups meeting/banquet planners their specific group requirements with the services & facilities offered. This includes proposals, contracts, estimated and actual function statements.
∎ Competitive analysis every six months by calling competition and gathering data such as banquet kits, room rental rates, etc.
∎ Directly responsible for large function billings and overseeing medium/small function billings with particular regard to accuracy and timeliness (48 hours)
∎ Ensuring that services meet customer specifications and minimize number of customer complaints.
∎ Assure Food & Beverage inventory for functions, including opening and closing inventories, accurate bar summaries and cash deposits are prepared.
∎ Liaise on an on-going basis with the Sales Department to ensure all client needs and requirements will be met.
∎ Consistent check of Banquet Food and Beverage quality, Banquet services and pallet presentation. Meeting with conveners and confirming proper set-up of Function Room at time of Function while on duty.
∎ Responsible for staff training and development and ensure all staff have 'Smart Serve' certification.
∎ Overall maintenance of the operation at a level in keeping with the standards prescribed and report any deficiencies in equipment and facilities.
∎ Handle all Food & Beverage inquiries and ensure timely follow up on the same business day and Supervision of daily paper flow including Proposals, and Function Contracts.
∎ Attendance at weekly F&B meeting and Department Head meeting and participation in Manager on Duty shifts as required.
∎ Ensure a professional attitude and proper business attire when on property, ready to meet or service a client at any time.
∎ To assist in menu planning and pricing and completion of monthly inventory.
∎ Work with the Chef and Food & Beverage Supervisor to ensure all arrangements and details are dealt with.
∎ All other duties as directed by the Higher Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience in the hospitality industry as Manager/Asst Manager F&B with positive customer service and client service work history.
∎ The applicants must have experience in the following area(s): Hotel, Resort
∎ Excellent management and motivational skills
∎ Exceptional organizational skills
∎ Age : Not more than 40 years
∎ Outstanding customer service
∎ Effective communication skills dealing with both internal and external contacts.
∎ Good Knowledge & understanding regarding Budget Management, Stock Control, Nutritional and Allergy requirements, Purchasing, Invoicing and HR Policies and Procedures.
∎ Computer skills for entering details onto the system.
∎ Ability to work independently and under pressure whilst prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
∎ Must have a passion and love for food.
∎ Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays subject to rota and a willingness to extend of change hours and days of work from time to time upon request and subject to operational requirements.

Salary: Negotiable
