Additional Requirements:

• Age 18 to 40 years

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in restaurant, food-service, café, catering or similar operations preferred.

• Experience supervising a small team preferred.• Good communication and problem-solving ability.

• Basic understanding of POS, cash handling and inventory control.

• Must be responsible, punctual and physically active.

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced food-service environment.

• Freshers with strong leadership ability may also be considered.

Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities

• Supervise the complete daily operation of the food-service outlet.
• Coordinate between the central kitchen and NSU outlet.
• Check food quality, quantity, packaging and dispatch before shipment.
• Supervise opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Supervisor, Assemblers and Runner.
• Monitor customer service and order accuracy.
• Monitor stock, wastage and remaining inventory.
• Supervise the morning shipment and second replenishment shipment.
• Coordinate with the central kitchen regarding shortages and replenishment.
• Monitor POS, cash and Bkash reconciliation.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Ensure hygiene and food-safety standards are maintained.
• Prepare and submit the daily closing report.
• Report operational problems immediately to management.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality and teamwork among staff.

Job Context

Dhaka Street is recruiting a responsible and experienced Supervisor – Food Operations for its temporary campus food-service operation.

The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating staff, monitoring food quality and stock, supervising service, coordinating with the central kitchen, handling operational issues and completing daily closing and reporting procedures.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Daily rate: ৳1,000
• Project duration: 22 operating days
• Equivalent project compensation: ৳22,000
• Payment will be disbursed weekly on Saturday based on actual days worked.
• ৳500 weekly sales-performance bonus when the approved weekly sales target is exceeded.
• Additional ৳1,000 Supervisor bonus when the weekly sales target is exceeded by 30%.
