Responsibilities & Context:
Assist in preparing and cooking food according to recipes, standards, and instructions from the Chef.
Prepare mise en place, ingredients, sauces, garnishes, and other items required for daily operations.
Maintain proper taste, quality, portion size, and presentation of food.
Keep the assigned kitchen section, equipment, utensils, and work areas clean and organized.
Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen SOPs at all times.
Assist CDP/DCDP and other senior chefs during food preparation and service operations.
Store and handle ingredients properly, minimize food wastage, and maintain proper stock levels.
