Job Context:
∎ SHOWCASE is the leading magazine on architecture, interior design & art in Bangladesh with the highest number of monthly publications and online reach is looking for Sub-Editor.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead a project team in conceptualizing and implementing long-term and short-term strategies in line with the magazine’s publications within provided budget and resources.
∎ Oversee a team of writers, graphic designers, photographer, videographer, video editor, social media manager to smoothly run the publication process of a nationally and internationally read print and online magazine.
∎ Conduct interviews and coordinate photo-shoot/video shoot for feature purpose.
∎ Develop and maintain relationships with concerned clients comprising artists, architects, art foundations, architecture institutions, socialites, business personalities and brand managers.
∎ Build all daily work schedules and grow the team through direct performance feedback.
∎ Assign stories according to writers' interests and abilities and edit articles to ensure they are error-free
∎ and ready to be published.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Understanding of topics related to architecture, interior design, art and lifestyle
∎ A basic understanding of search engine optimization and digital platform
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced/ deadline-oriented environment

Salary: Negotiable
