Responsibilities & Context:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and continuously improving HR policies, SOPs, procedures, and strategies aligned with the company's vision, mission, and business objectives.

  • Execute end-to-end Human Resource functions including:

    • Manpower planning and budgeting.

    • Recruitment, selection, onboarding, induction, and confirmation.

    • Attendance, leave, payroll, compensation & benefits administration.

    • Performance Management System (PMS), KPI implementation, and employee appraisal.

    • Learning & Development (L&D), employee engagement, and succession planning.

    • Employee separation, resignation, termination, final settlement, and exit management.

  • Ensure compliance with the Bangladesh Labour Act, Bangladesh Labour Rules, company policies, and other applicable statutory requirements.

  • Plan, supervise, and control all factory administration activities, including transport, canteen, housekeeping, accommodation, utilities, office facilities, and general administrative support.

  • Maintain, renew, and preserve all statutory licenses, certificates, permits, registrations, and other legal documents required for factory operations.

  • Coordinate and ensure compliance with buyer requirements, social compliance standards, environmental requirements, and management systems (where applicable), including audit preparation and corrective action implementation.

  • Monitor and ensure workplace health, safety, fire safety, environmental compliance, and emergency preparedness in accordance with legal and company requirements.

  • Supervise factory security operations, including security personnel, CCTV systems, access control, visitor management, asset protection, and overall physical security.

  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, domestic inquiries, conflict resolution, counseling, and employee relations while maintaining a positive working environment.

  • Provide HR and administrative support to production and other operational departments to ensure uninterrupted factory operations.

  • Conduct regular internal compliance inspections and audits to identify non-conformities relating to labour laws, factory rules, HR practices, health & safety, and administrative controls, and ensure timely corrective actions.

  • Prepare and maintain HR, administration, compliance, and statutory reports, records, documentation, and management information systems (MIS).

  • Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, external auditors, buyers, consultants, and other stakeholders whenever required.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
