Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS from any reputed medical college with valid BMDC registration
∎ Candidate having working experience in community and/or hospital-based research or clinical trial will be given preference
Job Context:
∎ The appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 1 year but may be extended for further period depending on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
∎ Projahnmo Research Foundation (PRF) in association with Johns Hopkins University, USA has a long and illustrious history of conducting research in Bangladesh. PRF`s research has contributed to improvement of health of Bangladeshi citizens and has supported the career development of numerous Bangladeshi public health professional. Projahnmo Research Foundation is seeking qualified and motivated female applicants from Bangladeshi nationals for the position of Study Physician for research studies.
∎ Duty station: Zakiganj Upazila of Sylhet
∎ Job Nature: Fixed term
Job Responsibilities:
∎ History taking, physical examination, assessment of study participants as per approved study protocol
∎ Conduct scheduled and unscheduled follow up visits of enrolled participants at hospital or home
∎ Assess sick study participants either at hospital or at home (for referral failure cases) and manage as per guidelines
∎ Coordinate, supervise, and guide a clinical team of the study following approved study protocol and standard operating procedure (SOP)
∎ Community visits to support and guide field team on assessment and counseling of study participants
∎ Maintain proper documentation for all study visits
∎ Closely follow up of enrolled participant for any kind of serious adverse events (SAE) including hospitalization and prepare documentation for SAE reporting to IRB
∎ Manage site master file for all kinds of documentation under the guidance of study manager
∎ Identify gaps/challenges during study activities and discuss with supervisor on possible solution
∎ Maintain liaison with hospital physicians and other staffs for smooth implementation of the study
∎ Liaise with other project staff and provide support to them as and when required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Competency requirement: Strong in written and verbal English and Bangla communication
∎ Knowledge of ethical guidelines
∎ Should be able to work with a team
∎ Skilled in MS office and Excel software
∎ Should be able to communicate effectively
∎ Must have innovative thinking skills
∎ Should have a drive to learn and solve problems
∎ Motivation to take challenges
Salary:
∎ 63,190/- per month including house rent and conveyance allowance and other admissible benefits. (Salary is negotiable for highly experience candidate)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 12% retirement fund contribution by PRF will be given as per organizational policy.
