Experience:
Essential Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or medical setting.
Desirable Knowledge of Microsoft programs, MS Word, Excel.
Language:
Local language (Bangla) essential. English desirable

Accountabilities:
Performing tasks as per the Storekeeper`s instructions. This includes but are not limited to the following:
Receiving goods arriving to the store, checking its status/condition and amounts in the waybill
Preparing outgoing items in a clean and optimized way by appropriately packing, sealing and labeling goods, assisting with recording the exits on stock cards and project form, and ensuring good quality of cold chain when needed
Ensuring that goods are well organized and stored in a clean area to be visible and traceable i.e. assisting in the stock inventory, storing items according to nature and use, and ensuring that the temperature in the store is appropriate and items that require cold chain are correctly stored
Carrying out basic maintenance of the store, ensuring security conditions (keeping unauthorized staff out, locking, etc....)
Ensuring cleanliness of common working areas
Ensuring proper use, storage and maintenance of the equipment and tools provided
Informing superiors of any incident that may occur in the course of his/her work
Helping MSF staff carry heavy items, if necessary
MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:
Assist in receiving goods by checking quantity, quality, batch & expiry as per purchase order.
Report discrepancies or damages immediately to the Storekeeper.
Label and store items properly.
Organize goods according to MSF storage procedures (FEFO, FIFO, temperature, weight, and type).
Ensure cleanliness in the storage areas.
Prepare, dispatch, receive and maintain cold chain items received from local purchases and international cargos.
Assist with loading and unloading of materials when needed.
Participate in regular physical inventory (monthly, quarterly, or yearly).
Support in updating stock cards or inventory software.
Support the Storekeeper in filing and archiving stock documents (shipping documents, delivery notes, stock request forms, stock reports etc.).
Actively manage items being sent and receive via courier/mail from and to Cox’s Bazar.
Ensuring proper use, storage and maintenance of the Equipment and Tools provided by MSF including cold chain equipments and appliances.
Helping MSF staff carry heavy items, if necessary.
Primary level use of MSF soft tools such as: Email, Unifield, Adobe etc.
Inform supervisor of any incident that may occur in the course of his/her work

Ensure proper use of daily labor and handle them properly.
Ensure proper safety equipment are used during loading and unloading.
Support other logistics functions when required.
Take ownership of storekeeper’s role during his/her absence.
Quick response in emergencies.
Perform any other task assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Permanent contract -will continue based on performance and operational needs. Salary according to level Two (2) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 30895 Gross). Salary is non-negotiable. Income tax deduction from salary based on current income tax rule.
2 annual leave days per month worked.
