Job Summary:
We are a prominent Construction and Building Materials Manufacturing company in Bangladesh, seeking a Head of Supply Chain. The role is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations of the organization. This role oversees procurement, demand planning, inventory management, logistics, supplier management, and supply chain risk management to ensure products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with business objectives.
The successful candidate will develop long-term supply chain strategies, drive operational excellence, manage key supplier relationships, and lead cross-functional collaboration across operations, finance, sales, and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulate and implement the organization's supply chain strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Establish robust supply chain policies, procedures, and performance standards.
Oversee strategic sourcing, procurement & commercial activities.
Develop and execute comprehensive supplier selection & evaluation process.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements with key global and local suppliers.
Maintain strategic supplier partnerships and ensure supply continuity.
Streamline import operations, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
Build and mentor a high-performance team focused on accountability & and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership
Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
