Responsibilities & Context: BETELCO (Manufacturing Electric machineries in the power sector) require experienced personnel in the following fields for its expansion program. Applications are hereby invited Marketing & Sales Division for this position.
Title: Marketing & Sales of 33/11/.415kV Electrical Transformer, Switchgear & other Substation equipment, Generator, BBT, Solar energy System, LPS, Automation etc.
We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Executive sales engineer to join our team at BETELCO. The Sr. Executive Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the products' parts, functions, and processes and assisting with closing sales where technical expertise may be required to fit clients' needs.
To be successful as a Sr. Executive sales engineer, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's technical products and services and you should be able to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to nontechnical customers. You should be driven to achieve your sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
As a Sr. Executive sales engineer, you will drive business growth by understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions and effectively articulating the value of our products or services. Responsibilities:
- Understand our product/service’s technical features, functionalities and benefits.
- Study customer needs and business challenges and create a customized sales proposal with the sales team. Collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase key features and functionalities and address technical questions and concerns from customers.
- Generating high-quality sales leads, following up after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
- Preparing and developing technical presentations to explain our company's products or services to customers.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and email for marketing of our products. Planning & organizing for different marketing activities.
- To formulate strategic plan to achieve growth and meet sales target.
- To develop strategies and objectives with regard to revenue, profitability and market opportunities with the goal of maximizing sales. Setting and achieving sales goals and quotas.
- Provide pre-sales support by answering technical inquiries and participating in sales meetings.
- Liaise with the engineering or technical team to address technical concerns or requirements.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications and product training sessions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical requirements and ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
- Provide post-sales support to customers, including technical troubleshooting and customer training, ensuring their satisfaction with the product or service.
- Give active feedback and insights from the market to the product development and marketing team.
- Participate in sales meetings, trade shows and industry events to promote our products or services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics and competitor offerings.
- Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
- Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
- Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
