∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Working experience with INGO, NGO, Development Agency in site development/DRR/Environment or others response.
∎ Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
∎ Experience in construction related technical support within humanitarian or development projects, preferably in site development / development/infrastructure/DRR/Environment projects.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
∎ Budgeting, communication, writing, monitoring, and evaluating, project management, project implementation.
∎ Basic computer knowledge on MS office applications.
∎ Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and AutoCAD).
∎ Willingness to travel to field locations (refugee camps in Teknaf) in challenging conditions.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure effective technical support of SD and DRR by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of Site Development in camp 22, 24 and 25 at Cox’s Bazar District.
∎ This position holder will be responsible to guidance technical work of the SD project as per the guideline.
∎ Duties & Responsibilities:
∎ Strategic Planning and Design:
∎ Ensure that the strategy is grounded in detailed needs assessments and gap analyses of refugee households and camp communities.        I
∎ ntegrate national and international sector standards, including IOM and ISCG guidance, to ensure technical consistency and quality of all site development initiatives.
∎ Technical Leadership and Support:
∎ Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to project staff and partners in the planning and implementation of site development activities.
∎ Conduct regular training sessions, orientations, and on-the-job coaching to build the technical capacity of the team, with particular attention to inclusive design that addresses the specific needs of women, children, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.
∎ Ensure effective application of organizational and donor technical standards in all engineering and infrastructure-related interventions.
∎ Project Implementation and Quality Assurance:
∎ Lead the detailed planning, design, and execution of site improvement and small-scale infrastructure projects, including the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQ), material specifications, cost estimates, and work schedules.
∎ Conduct frequent field visits to supervise the quality and progress of ongoing works, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
∎ Identify and recommend necessary adjustments based on field realities to ensure both quantitative targets and qualitative outcomes are met.
∎ Coordination and Communication:
∎ Maintain regular and effective coordination with the relevant stakeholders at the camp level to ensure timely information sharing, planning, and reporting.
∎ Actively participate in inter-agency site development and engineering coordination forums, sharing learning and representing the organization’s interests.
∎ Safeguarding and Protection:
∎ Promote and uphold the principles of safeguarding across all project activities.
∎ Ensure safeguarding measures and standards are embedded in site improvement interventions and that all team members are oriented and compliant with safeguarding policies.
∎ Take proactive steps to prevent any form of abuse or exploitation and ensure a safe working and service delivery environment for both staff and camp residents.
∎ Other Duties:
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Coordinator in line with the overall objectives of the site development project.
