Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee the dining area, supervises food and beverage service staff in accordance with operating policies that he or she may help establish.
Create a positive team atmosphere among the team members.
Maintain records of staff and operating costs periodically.
Provide feedback and coaching to the team regularly.·
Understand building capability through Cross Training·
Treat all team members fairly and with respect.·
Set high standards for appropriate team behavior during the shifts.·
Work with food and beverage staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food-handling procedures.·
Handle guest complaints in the restaurants.·
Schedule periodic Food and Beverage (F&B) Service staff meetings to ensure correct interpretation of policies and obtain feedback from staff members.
Maintain budget and employee records, prepare payroll attendance of the F&B Service staff.
Check the quality of deliveries of fresh food and baked goods.
Meet sales representatives to order supplies such as tableware, cooking utensils, and cleaning items.
Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment.
check total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at the end of the day.
Ensure new products are executed properly following roll-out.
Ensure product quality and great service.
Delegate and follow-up effectively.
Take ownership of issues or tasks and also give detail update to the F&B manager and the General Manager.
Seek, listen and respond to Guests’ feedback.
Coach team on how to satisfy and exceed Guests’ expectations.
Take accountability of problems and do not blame others.
Effectively identify restaurant problems through reports and can ideate & execute to resolve the same.
Have proficiency in using computer software to monitor inventory, track staff schedules and pay, and perform other record keeping tasks.
Have proficiency in Point of Sale ( POS ) software, inventory software, IDS, Restaurant guest satisfactory tracking software etc.
Assist in planning regular and special event Menu.
