GPQ (Garment Pre-Quality) Job Responsibilities:

1. Review PP samples, trims, accessories, and construction details before bulk production. Ensure buyer comments are implemented in actual production.

2. Style Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks (design/technical) in new styles before production. Recommend solutions or improvements.

3. Initial Inspection Monitoring: Monitor first-piece approval during sewing and finishing. Ensure critical operations are done as per buyer requirements.

4. Line Setup Checks: Check line layout, operator skill, and machine setup before style starts. Ensure sewing quality standards are clearly communicated to the line QC.

5. In-Line Inspection Monitoring: Support inline QC to improve process control. Focus on construction, measurement, and visual standards.

6. Communication with Buyer QC: Coordinate factory quality readiness for buyer’s inline/mid inspections. Ensure buyer audit comments are followed up properly.

7. Training & Development: Train operators and quality team on new style construction and quality points.

Sr.Quality Controller Job Responsibilities:

1. Line Inspection: Continuously inspect garments during sewing.

Identify and report defects in stitching, construction, and measurements.

2. Quality Checkpoints: Conduct in-line and end-line inspections. Use AQL or buyer-specific standards for final inspection.

3. Defect Analysis: Record and analyze defects to prevent recurrence. Coordinate with production to resolve quality issues immediately.

4. Trims & Accessories Check: Ensure correct trims and labels are used during production.

5. Process Audit: Verify process control and ensure SOPs are being followed on the floor.

6. Measurement Checking: Randomly measure garments to check size conformity.

7. Record Keeping: Maintain inspection reports and defect logs for traceability.

8. Support Final Inspection: Prepare production for buyer or third-party final audits.
