∎ B.Sc/ Diploma in Textile Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
∎ Ensure availability of manpower required for the shift
∎ Ensure production yield as per shift-wise schedule
∎ Identify and highlight issues which might impact yield and production
∎ Prepare shift-wise production related MIS or other paper works.
∎ Supervise processing of raw materials through various production channels at unit (blowing, Carding, Drawing, Ring Spinning, Auto winding & Packing)
∎ Ensure smooth floor operations and adherence to production schedules
∎ Ensure adherence to technical and process specifications on the production floor
∎ Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
∎ Schedule and conduct shift meetings/Safety calls.
∎ Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Rules.
∎ Supervise and ensure adherence to safety guidelines and procedures on operation floor
∎ Monitor production process to ensure production of final products as per quality specifications. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications.
∎ Coordinate with quality control continuously to understand quality of products and manage the production process accordingly
∎ Coordinate with Maintenance & Engineering Departments to ensure smooth running of machines & equipments
∎ Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.
∎ Manage shift schedule that includes attendance, leave of employees, employee breaks, OT assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
∎ Develop reportees by providing them appropriate training and coaching opportunities
∎ Manage counselling and grievances of reportees

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years of experience in spinning industry in supervisory roll
∎ Technical knowledge at the supervisory level and experience of handling related equipment and machineries
∎ Good leadership and interpersonal skills and strong expertise to head various production sections/Shifts
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
