Responsibilities & Context:
Drive domestic sales of locally stocked chemicals and raw materials catering to plastic, paint, ink, packaging, and cable manufacturing industries.
Identify new business opportunities through market mapping, customer visits, and industry networking.
Understand customer applications, technical requirements, and consumption patterns to offer suitable chemical solutions.
Achieve assigned sales targets related to revenue, volume, margin, and market penetration.
Handle customer inquiries, negotiations, and order closures efficiently.
Resolve customer issues related to quality, delivery, or documentation in coordination with internal teams.
Collect and analyze market intelligence to support expansion of product portfolio and customer base.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within existing accounts.
Work closely with procurement, warehousing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely deliveries.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and pipeline reports as required.
Track KPIs related to sales growth, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and dependable service.
