EducationaI Quatifications: Master degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or other relevant studies.

Year of Experience :

Minimum 02 years of work experience in procurement and supply chain in NGO/INGO.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and other computer applications.

  • Having good Knowledge on Emergency Response Program, especially in UN funded project.

  • Demonstrate abitity to think and manage strategically, plan and meet deadlines.

  • Good command and Fluency in English Language. .

  • Understanding of the Rohingya /Chittagonian dialect is also preferred"



Responsibilities & Context:

Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the position of Sr. Officer-Procurement & Logistics for implementing `Education and Protection for Refugee Children (EPRC) Project` funded by UNHCR, located at Ukhiya & Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar)

Position Title: Sr. Officer-Procurement & Logistics

Location: Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of procurement plan for the project

  • Preparation of PR tracker and maintain properly

  • Responsible for ensuring all logistics supports Field Offices for smooth operation as per procurement plan.

  • Responsible for facilitating & managing all sorts of procurements, inventory management, logistics support, training events & workshops materials, ensuring of all office materials/ logistics are in safe and good condition.

  • Maintaining all kinds of Inventory management and its related Ledger Book

  • Maintain Material Inspection Report

  • Ensure quality goods Procurement

  • Monitor and verify all assets are utilized properly

  • Information dissemination about market

  • Collect information from different market

  • Verify markets and pass the correct information to the beneficiaries as well as project team to ensure the best goods with the approved amount.

  • Documentation and record keeping

  • Documentation and record keeping of procurement related data

Safeguarding & PSEA:

  • S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)`s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.

  • Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program`s goals on safeguarding implementation.

  • Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
