Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulating diets.
∎ Develop feeding programs & monitoring the condition of dairy cattle to ensure that production goals are achieved.
∎ Analyzing lab samples.
∎ Sourcing feed ingredients.
∎ Select cost-effective ingredients.
∎ Adjusting rations.
∎ Select supplements.
∎ Ensure proper nutrition.
∎ Keeping detailed records.
∎ Prepare various reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
∎ Using body condition scoring to evaluate each animal in the herd.
∎ Collaborate with other Departments for smooth operations.
∎ Perform any other assignment given by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Critical-thinking skills: Able to make tough decisions through sound reasoning and judgment for the proper evaluation and feeding of dairy animals.
∎ Technical proficiency: Familiarity with dairy nutrition software programs, which have become increasingly important for nutrition management and ration balancing.
∎ Mathematical proficiency: Comfortable performing mathematical calculations and interpreting laboratory reports.
∎ Analytical skills: Able to interpret laboratory reports and assess the condition of dairy animals
∎ Interpersonal skills: Able to work with others such as veterinarians, lab technicians, farmers, and herders.
∎ Honest, energetic, dedicated and polite in manner with positive personality.
∎ Pro-active, independent and result oriented.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Initially, salary will be increased after successful completion of 6 months probation period.
