Responsibilities & Context:
Paragon Group is one of the largest conglomerate in Agri sector is looking for dynamic and experienced candidates for its Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) project.
Responsibility:
Overall Production Management
Oversee the full BSF production cycle: from egg collection, larval rearing to harvesting and processing.
Ensure that all production processes follow biosecurity and hygiene protocols.
Monitor KPIs like larval yield, survival rate, feed conversion rate (FCR), and waste-to-protein efficiency.
Larval Rearing & Maintenance
Manage the daily feeding, temperature, humidity, and environmental conditions for optimal larval growth.
Maintain appropriate density and clean trays regularly.
Prevent contamination, disease, and pest outbreaks.
Breeding & Colony Management
Operate and maintain the breeding room to ensure high-quality egg production.
Waste Handling & Feed Preparation
Collect organic waste (e.g., food/agriculture waste) and prepare it as larval feed.
Harvesting & Processing
Supervise timely larval harvesting based on growth benchmarks.
Oversee processing activities such as drying, oil extraction, and grinding to make BSF meal and oil.
Data Recording & Reporting
Maintain accurate logs on daily production, mortality rate, harvesting volumes, and feed input.
Submit regular production reports to management.
Any other related assignment given by the management/superior.
