Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop selective breeding programs.
∎ Analyze pedigrees.
∎ Conduct genetic research or lab tests.
∎ Develop strategies to improve heritability of desirable traits.
∎ Study population genetics.
∎ Map the genomes of various species.
∎ Prepare various reports and communicate genetic trends.
∎ Collaborate with other Departments for smooth operations.
∎ Perform any other assignment given by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Communication skills: Animal geneticists must explain their findings and the implications of those findings.
∎ Data analysis skills: Must be able to analyze the data they collect from their genetic research to help find solutions in their area of work.
∎ Technical skills: Must be able to use laboratory equipment, DNA scanners, and a variety of software applications.
∎ Honest, energetic, dedicated and polite in manner with positive personality.
∎ Pro-active, independent and result oriented.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Initially, salary will be increased after successful completion of 6 months probation period.
