Educational Requirements:
∎ DVM/Graduate (B.Sc) in Chemistry or Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry or Diploma from reputed University/Academic qualification will be flexible for experienced candidates
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Perform all kinds of laboratory test effectively and efficiently
∎ Conduct post-mortem of birds for disease diagnosis and provide appropriate treatment as per requirements
∎ Prepare and provide all kinds of Lab reports accurately within specific time frame to demonstrate accountability
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3- 5 years of experience in Poultry or any Microbiological Diagnostic Lab
∎ laboratory work experience in related field with minimum 3 years technician experience in Laboratory
∎ Proven experience as Lab Technician or relevant position
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Analytical skills
∎ Strong computer skills with applications of Testing Software, Statistical tools, and familiarity with Microsoft office suite of programs.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
∎ Technical testing role that collects, prepares samples, carries out experiments, makes measurements with scientific equipment, records results and presents results for critical analysis
∎ Clean, maintain and set up equipment for use in experiments
∎ Collect, classify and preserve specimens and samples
∎ Perform diagnostic and other scientific tests on specimens, such as animal and plant tissues, feed and water for chemical or cellular or other constituents, bacterial content and chemical contamination
∎ Carry out experimental procedures, such as taking animal blood samples, testing seed and experimental plants, analyzing soil and monitoring processes, such as fermentation
∎ Perform routine mathematical calculations and prepare graphs
∎ Use computers and computer-interfaced equipment
∎ Carry out routine quality assurance checks on production line samples and materials
∎ Assist in the writing of lab reports
