Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
- Background in Knit Garments Marketing/Merchandising.
- 3-5 Years relevant experience in the role of Merchandiser and 2-3 Years experience in the role of Sr. Merchandiser.
- Strong buyer communication & order execution skills.
- Team player with a deadline-driven attitude.
- Candidates having Promotional buyer dealing experience/worked with UK based retailers will get preferences.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Should have a strong determination to grow a career in the circular knitted apparel industry.
- Manage order sheets, prepare sales contracts, and collect detailed style information, samples, and required work permits.
- Monitor production efficiency and address any issues or delays to ensure timely shipment.
- Oversee daily merchandising activities and maintain effective communication with buyers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement and execution.
- Possess strong knowledge of production sequences and timelines to finalize schedules in line with the Target Order Delivery (TOD) plan.
- Coordinate and follow up with all relevant departments to ensure buyers’ requirements are met accurately and efficiently.
- Manage production approvals, arrange inspections, secure shipping permissions, organize transport, and hand over goods to the Commercial team.
- Collect buyer feedback post-shipment and proactively source new orders to drive continuous business growth.
The job location will be at Vulta, Rupgonj, Narayangonj.
