Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key responsibility is to perform day to day IE related activities.
∎ Identify the critical operation well in advance and discuss with head of IE.
∎ Advance to run the production lines, when production starts.
∎ Prepare the machines and other requirements in advance and inform the management.
∎ Monitor everyday hourly production in every unit/ line and take necessary action.
∎ When new style start analyzes the bulletin and layouts.
∎ Factory lay out. Operation line balance.
∎ When style is feeding, checking work place, layout, method and find out whether labor and machine utilized properly.
∎ Maintaining individual operator performance and motivating low operator performances.
∎ Analyze the work in progress on work stations and instructing supervisor for better balancing.
∎ When analyze the bottle neck areas co-ordinate with technical adviser & line management to solving problems.
∎ Conducting capacity studies if line management request.
∎ Method develops &work place engineering.
∎ Maintaining lost time recording and calculate efficiency.
∎ Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards & cost analysis system.
∎ Ensure layout the machine by maintaining proper sequence of operation to ensure best workflow.
∎ Check all the SMV's for costing before handing over to the merchandisers.
∎ Follow-up the production & take necessary action for achievement.
∎ Prepared garments cost based on CPM.
∎ Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures and activities. Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability and minimize cost.
∎ Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards. Estimate production cost and effect of product design changes for management review, action, and control.
