  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Systems, or relevant field; an MBA is considered advantageous.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 40 to 50 years
  • Typically, 10–15 years of experience in battery technologies, energy storage, renewable energy, or automotive sectors, including several years in leadership or sales roles.

  • Strong technical understanding of batteries or storage systems.

  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale sales projects, achieving targets, and building sales pipelines.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills; fluency in relevant languages (e.g., English, plus local languages) is often preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, ERP, SND Software and sales reporting systems.



Responsibilities & Context:

Strategic Planning & Business Development

  • Define and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities, customer segments, and emerging trends in battery/Energy Storage Systems.
  • Develop and roll out business models and go-to-market plans—including distribution and channel strategies.
  • Set and manage sales targets, forecasts, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Expand into new territories and customer segments while optimizing cost of sales (S&D).

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Craft and oversee strategic marketing campaigns, including branding, positioning, and promotional activities to enhance product visibility and perceived value.
  • Conduct market research, analyze competitor behavior, and leverage insights to refine offer positioning.
  • Develop messaging, sales collateral, and communication strategies to support sales efforts and elevate brand presence.

Revenue & Financial Management

  • Oversee P&L to ensure profitable growth.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, forecasts, and KPIs; manage budgets and margins.

Team Leadership & Organizational Performance

  • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing sales team; conduct performance reviews and training.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure executional alignment.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments: product management, production, finance, MIS, accounts, planning, etc., to ensure business alignment.

Client Relationship & Channel Development

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, government agencies, and industry partners.
  • Establish and manage distribution networks and dealer relationships to expand market reach.

Market Intelligence & Compliance

  • Monitor competitor strategies, regulatory changes, and new technologies in the battery/storage domain.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and environmental regulations.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide regular sales performance reports, market analysis, and strategic insights to senior leadership
  • Represent the company in industry events, exhibitions, and stakeholder engagements to enhance brand visibility.
