Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knowledge of Sweater steps to make a garment & fit analysis
∎ Knowledge of sweater techniques and programming. Familiar with knitting machines like: Shima/ Stoll.
∎ Able to review samples: prototype, fit samples, size sets, PPs and prepare evaluation reports.
∎ Confident to approve samples and make comments
∎ Follow from development till final sample approvals
∎ Ability to work and make decision independently
∎ Ability to connect with factory to find solutions for better and more production friendly products.
∎ Managing day to day technical activities & liaising with all departments among merchandising, QA, suppliers for problem solving.
∎ Frequent factory visits and review of production processes to ensure goods/ samples are done in a production friendly way
∎ Providing instructions to suppliers on chart making/grading, fabrications, construction and sweater related operations and finding alternative options.
∎ Developing supplier's skill in production and sampling
∎ Educate suppliers according to need.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 40 years
∎ Should have fitting & Pattern knowledge in Sweater.
∎ Sample room experience. (if have will be a plus point)
∎ Self-motivated, self-organized & responsible.
∎ Able to overcome potential production problem with solution.
∎ Able to identify fitting problem and correct pattern accordingly
∎ Good communication Skills in computer (excel, word, outlook)
∎ Written & spoken English is compulsory.
∎ Should have excellent communications skills in both written and spoken English and Bengali.
∎ Should be proficient in the use of computer, especially MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Data Base Management, etc.
