Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Have standard idea about the Quality Assurance practices in Circular Knitting and Grey Fabric Production.
∎ To monitor, Co-ordinate and promote the company Quality system and grey fabric quality improvement process to maintain the grey fabric quality.
∎ Maintain preventive steps for the grey fabric quality in terms of fabric defect, GSM, fabric width control, defect root cause analysis and permanent solution.
∎ Have thorough idea about grey fabric production and quality control as well as finished fabric production/ textile finishing.
∎ Reduce the fabric defect (%) in greige knitted state and maintain A-Grade grey fabric production.
∎ To lead and develop an effective knitting QC team and technical staffs.
∎ Co-ordinate with physical testing lab and collect update data on yarn quality, grey and finished fabric quality.
∎ To develop and implement the inspection criteria and procedures for grey fabric.
∎ Use the 4-point inspection system thoroughly in grey fabric inspection and maintain proper control over the defect analysis and fabric categorization.
∎ Directly assist with knitting production QC & improve quality as per expected standard.
∎ Lead Grey fabric QC team with independent reporting to the Quality Head.
∎ Maintain the QA manual, QA report, QA format of the company and make aware to Knitting Dept.
∎ Head on a routine basis for Grey Fabric quality improvement.
∎ Maintain test batch production policy before bulk grey fabric knitting production.
