Additional Requirements:
  • Age 25 to 40 years
  • Mastery of various fabric types.

  • Deep understanding of wet processing technology, shade matching.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables) and ERP software for inventory and production tracking is mandatory.

  • Hands-on experience with tools like lightboxes and verify shrinkage, pilling and color fastness.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Bengali is essential for coordinating with buying houses and internal departments.

  • Strong ability to supervise, train, and motivate large teams of floor staff and operators.

  • Ability to work under high pressure to meet tight production deadlines and handle audit requirements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills for shade correction, cost optimization, and waste reduction. 



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing finished fabrics using ERP systems and MS Excel.

  • Conduct regular physical stock checks to ensure system data aligns with actual inventory.

  • Ensure every fabric roll has a ticket with specific order data and is categorized by "shade family" (e.g., A, B, C) for accurate shipment to cutting departments.

  • Monitor the optimum utilization of materials and handle damage management effectively. 

  • Follow up on finished fabric quality against buyer-specific physical requirements, such as color fastness, GSM, shrinkage, and hand feel.

  • Verify shade bands and color continuity against approved standards or pre-production (PP) samples.

  • Coordinate closely with the Cutting Department regarding cuttable width (Dia) and faults to minimize short quantities and maximize marker efficiency.

  • Ensure the store meets buyer-specific standards and audit requirements.

  • Oversee the timely delivery of finished fabric to both the store and subsequent departments according to the production schedule.

  • Parallel to bulk dyeing, follow up on the quality of sample dyeing (PP samples) to ensure standards are met before large-scale production.

  • Prepare daily production and delivery reports for senior management (e.g., GM Dyeing Finishing). 

  • Lead and motivate subordinates, including store keepers, helpers, and labor staff.

  • Assist in training new team members on quality requirements and safe material handling. 

  • Must have deep knowledge on Left over.

  • Any other relevant task assigned by Management.
