Strong knowledge of:

- Control Systems & Industrial Automation

- Instrumentation & Measurement

- Electrical & Instrumentation Schematics

- Engineering Drawings and P&IDs

- Relevant software, tools and automation systems

Responsibilities & Context:

Major Responsibilities

- Manage power distribution systems, transformers, switchgear and Motor Control Centers (MCCs).

- Calibrate and maintain sensors for pressure, temperature, level and flow measurements.

- Program, monitor and troubleshoot PLCs, DCS and SCADA networks.

- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.

- Diagnose and repair failures in electrical networks, sensors, PLCs and control loops.

- Review and interpret electrical & instrumentation drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs) and P&IDs.

- Specify and select appropriate field instruments, control valves, switchgear and safety devices.

- Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of new plant equipment.

- Ensure proper calibration of measurement instruments for accurate and reliable process control.

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes, grounding practices and explosion-proof standards.

- Lead and coordinate electrical & automation maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable and uninterrupted plant operation.
