Responsibilities & Context:
Job Responsibilities
Monitor network and system performance and identify basic connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and maintain WiFi routers, ONUs/OLTs, switches, and MikroTik devices.
Provide remote support to resellers and assist with customer-related technical issues.
Troubleshoot basic routing, switching, VLAN, PPPoE, and connectivity issues.
Assist with PPPoE/RADIUS configuration, user authentication, and bandwidth control.
Support routine network monitoring and maintenance for core and access networks.
Escalate complex or recurring technical issues to the L2/technical team.
Maintain proper records of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Assist with field visits for installation, maintenance, and emergency troubleshooting when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s/Diploma in CSE, EEE, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant technical education background is not mandatory for candidates with strong practical skills.
0–2 years of experience in ISP, IIG, or related network operations. Freshers with relevant skills are encouraged to apply.
Basic hands-on experience with MikroTik.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLAN, static routing, STP/RSTP, and switching.
Basic understanding of BGP and ISP network operations.
Familiarity with OLT/ONU and GPON/EPON.
Familiarity with PPPoE, RADIUS, and bandwidth management.
Good communication and customer-support skills.
Ability to work under pressure and troubleshoot issues systematically.
Willingness to work night shifts once/twice a week when required.
Experience in a licensed ISP or IIG is preferred.
CCNA / MTCNA / MTCRE certification is preferred but not mandatory.
