Responsibilities & Context:

Rider Leather Bags & Luggage Factory Ltd. is looking for a hands-on, innovative, and out-of-the-box thinker to drive our journey toward advanced manufacturing & smart factory automation.

YOUR ROLE

You will be responsible for turning automation ideas into measurable business results—whether the solution is developed in-house or imported from an international automation supplier.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Identify and evaluate automation opportunities across manufacturing processes.

- Evaluate, select, and technically specify local/international automation solutions.

- Lead FAT, installation, SAT, testing, commissioning, and production ramp-up of imported automation.

- Ensure automation delivers the expected ROI, productivity, quality, manpower, and energy benefits.

- Optimize machine parameters, cycle time, utilization, and operating methods after commissioning.

- Develop in-house automation, modifications, or custom solutions where commercially viable.

- Work with PLC, HMI, servo, sensors, pneumatics, VFD, robotics, Vision & Industrial Data as required.

- Troubleshoot and improve existing automated/semi-automated equipment.

- Establish OEE, downtime, productivity, quality, and ROI-based performance monitoring for automation projects.

We want an engineer who has strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on problem-solving ability, curiosity, and the courage to challenge conventional solutions.

Education: Mechatronics / Robotics & Automation / EEE / Mechanical or related engineering.

Experience: Relevant industrial/automation experience preferred. Exceptional engineers with strong practical projects and proven problem-solving ability are encouraged to apply.
