Rider Leather Bags & Luggage Factory Ltd. is looking for a proactive, analytical, and result-oriented Executive – Industrial Engineering (IE) to support production efficiency, productivity improvement, manpower optimization, and process development across its bag and luggage manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct time studies, method studies, and work measurements for various bag, backpack, and luggage manufacturing operations.

2. Calculate and establish Standard Minute Value (SMV) and Standard Allowed Minutes (SAM) for different products and operations.

3. Prepare operation breakdowns and develop standard operating methods for cutting, sewing, assembly, and finishing processes.

4. Monitor production line efficiency, operator performance, hourly production, and target achievement.

5. Conduct production line balancing and identify bottlenecks to improve workflow and productivity.

6. Analyze manpower requirements and optimize manpower allocation based on production targets and style complexity.

7. Prepare daily IE reports covering production efficiency, SMV, manpower utilization, and productivity performance.

8. Identify opportunities to reduce idle time, unnecessary movement, process delays, and operational waste.

9. Support the implementation of productivity improvement initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

10. Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Merchandising departments to ensure smooth production operations.

11. Assist in capacity studies, layout planning, and production feasibility analysis for new styles.

12. Maintain accurate records of time studies, operation bulletins, efficiency reports, and other IE documents.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Good knowledge of SMV/SAM calculation, time study, method study, and line balancing.

• Understanding of sewing, cutting, assembly, and finishing processes in bag and luggage manufacturing.

• Ability to analyze production data and identify efficiency improvement opportunities.

• Good command of MS Excel and IE reporting.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with production teams and meet operational deadlines.
