Rider Leather Bags & Luggage Factory Ltd. is looking for a competent, analytical, and results-oriented Manager – IE & Costing to lead its Industrial Engineering and product costing functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving production efficiency, optimizing manpower and machine utilization, establishing accurate product costing, and implementing cost-reduction initiatives across bag, backpack, and luggage manufacturing operations.

• Lead the Industrial Engineering (IE) and Costing functions to improve factory productivity, operational efficiency, and profitability.

• Analyze product specifications, technical sheets, and construction details to develop accurate product costings.

• Prepare and review material consumption, labor cost, SMV/SAM, and operation-wise costing for bags, backpacks, luggage, and related products.

• Conduct time studies, method studies, line balancing, capacity studies, and work measurement.

• Analyze production efficiency, manpower utilization, bottlenecks, and production performance.

• Develop and implement productivity improvement plans to reduce production costs and minimize operational waste.

• Coordinate with the merchandising, production, quality, planning, and accounts departments to ensure accurate costing and efficient production.

• Monitor actual production costs against estimated costs and identify variances.

• Establish standard operating methods and optimize manpower and machine utilization.

• Prepare regular reports on productivity, efficiency, cost analysis, and improvement initiatives for management.

• Lead, train, and develop the IE and costing team.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of IE techniques, time study, method study, line balancing, and SMV/SAM calculation.

• Practical experience in product costing, labor costing, material consumption analysis, and cost optimization.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.

• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and achieve productivity and cost-reduction targets.
