• Essential recognized 3-years nurse degree/diploma with valid registration from BNMC
• Desirable Bachelor Science of Nursing
• Desirable 2 years of previous experience in MSF
• Desirable experience in supervising and training others in a team setting
• Désirable previous IPC role or experience
• Essential 2 years other NGO experience
• Computer literacy Essential
• Chittagonian Local language Desirable. English language Essential.
Clinical and Triage Role
• Ensure triage is carried out in a way that ensures patient safety and confidentiality. Informs medical staff of any patient that requires immediate care, especially for the MH department.
• Assist to provide nursing care and treatment to patients in mental health, sexual reproductive health (SRH) and SGBV environment if needed
• Minor procedures such as RDT, Blood sugar/HgB monitoring, and injections as requested by treating doctor.
• Participate in referral process: calling ambulance, prepare patient and self for transport, manage equipment and escort patient in ambulance to medical facility.
• Management of patients in mental distress, including patients who need care during de-escalation and mental health interventions.
• Perform MUAC screening and nutritional assessment if needed.
IPC and Quality Monitoring Role
• Supervise Hygiene agents, develop rosters, do performance evaluation, manage leave, engage in HR processes as needed together with NAM
• Participate in IPC auditing including hand hygiene audit (HHOT), Glow-check auditing, MSFAT and SIPCA
• Ensure stock of IPC materials are in place and adequate stock. Report to NAM if any broken or missing items in built environment that impacts safe IPC practice.
• Deliver training in IPC measures according to MSF three pillars to medical and non-medical staff with support of NAM
• Participate actively in IPC Committee, assist with administrative duties and implementation of the annual IPC action plan.
• Monitor clinical areas, office and staff dining areas and ensure Hygiene Agents are following proper cleaning and disinfection procedures.
• Ensure proper steps are followed and PPE is worn by staff during high-risk procedures (ie: Hygiene Agents during cleaning of toilets)
• Advocate for quality control and that standards are followed surrounding transmission-based precautions (ie: gown and mask for droplet precautions).
• Clean and disinfect medical equipment in triage area.
• Monitor and ensure the availability of Surfanios or other surface disinfectants in departments
• Prepare pharmacy and logistic orders for IPC supplies
General
• Deliver care in a culturally and gender sensitive manner
• Be aware of barriers and stigma (especially SGBV and MH) that our beneficiaries face and act in a way to empower them
• Maintain flexibility in assisting other healthcare activities, gap-filling and emergency response
• Provide nursing care and services to Gender Diverse Population.

This is a fixed term contract for three (03) months. Salary according to Level Six (06) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 68,000 Gross). 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
No relocation allowance shall be provided.
