Additional Requirements:
5 years of experience in nutrition/public health program implementation, with demonstrated experience in acute malnutrition programming (CMAM/IMAM) and/or maternal nutrition interventions.
Experience working with Government of Bangladesh health systems highly preferred.
Strong skills in field supervision, training facilitation, data quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
Ability to travel 50–60% within assigned districts.
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
Strong written and spoken proficiency in English and Bangla.
Responsibilities & Context:
Scope of Work: The Specialist, Program Implementation and Quality Assurance will play a central role in ensuring high-quality implementation of both the Multi-Micronutrient Supplement (MMS) Scale Up Intervention and the Management of Acute Malnutrition (MAM/SAM) programming within assigned districts. The position will provide technical oversight, field-level supervision, training coordination, and quality assurance across two districts, requiring extensive field engagement. The Specialist will work closely with government health authorities, project teams, and implementing partners to ensure fidelity to national guidelines, strengthen service delivery, support adherence monitoring, improve data quality, and promote evidence-based decision-making for both MMS and Acute Malnutrition management interventions.
